Transgender Male Needs Assessment:



In an effort to bring attention to the various needs of Transgender Males (FTM), Destination Tomorrow has compiled a survey which will be an opportunity for the Transgender male population to identify their concerns regarding health care within their perspective communities.  To complete the survey click here, it takes five minutes and your answers will remain confidential.

Our core goal is to improve the quality of life for homeless or runaway LGBT youth by providing: safe, structured living arrangements as we prepare the youth for independent living or family reunification. This goal will be accomplished by:

• Utilizing LGBT sensitive medical providers
• Teaching HIV awareness and prevention
• Self-esteem building workshops
• Job training/readiness programs
• Educational programs
• Life Skills
• Family Reunification/Mediation

Referrals:

Destination Tomorrow offers the following referrals:

• Crisis Shelter placement - If you are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless  our staff will work within our network of LGBT shelter providers to secure short term placement.
• Hormonal Replacement Treatment - In partnership with The HEAT Program and Callen Lorde, we can assist clients who are ready to begin their transition.
• Family Reunification/mediation - Counseling for clients who still reside with their family or there is hope to reunite.
